So, Easter was over a month ago. I am playing catch-up! We had a great weekend that weekend. Haley and Jason came in on Friday night and we played Texas Hold 'Em after the babies went to sleep. The next day we all did yoga, which was very interesting with the girls. Jason is doing a fitness program and he was supposed to do yoga on that day so we all decided to do it with him. It was really funny because Tanner kept crawling all over everyone, and Sofi kept looking at us wondering what the heck we were doing! It was a lot of fun, though. That night, we dyed Easter eggs and watched The Ten Commandments. The next morning, we had Cassie, Maddie, JP, Tawny, Paxton, Channing, and Jaxson over to hunt Easter eggs and have breakfast before we all went to church. Everyone brought something for breakfast and we ate and watched the kids. Unfortunately, it was raining all morning so we had to hunt the eggs inside. We made the mistake of hiding the eggs before everyone got there. Little did we know, Maddie was an egg-hunting expert! She started hunting eggs right when she walked in the door so we jumped right into it! We had so much fun! That afternoon it cleared up enough for us to let Tanner splash around in the pool. It was a great weekend.Yoga.
She loves to sit in this chair!
Where's Tanner?
The boys were very excited about dying Easter eggs....

"Cheese!!!"
Hunting Easter eggs is tiring!
The hunt...
All the kiddos minus Sofi, who was napping.

I don't think it's a Stand 'N Spin.....

Tanner's First Trip to the Beach
Over Easter weekend we stayed in Rockport, which is about 30 minutes from Corpus Christi. We went to the Hooks game on Thursday night and stayed in Rockport at the Lighthouse Inn that night. The hotel was so pretty! We will definitely be going back! Thanks, Randy and Cindy! The next day, we went to Port Aransas, which you get to by ferry, to go to the beach. It was really fun. Tanner had a BLAST!! She loved the sand, loved the water, loved the seagulls, basically she loved everything about the whole day! We had so much fun watching her. We could hardly get her out of the water, even though it was FREEZING!! We buried her in the sand, and she had a good time helping us. She kept putting handfuls of sand on the top of the pile.
Pointing to the seagulls
At our hotel. We really did love this hotel! This is right outside the hotel. It sits right on the water.
The back of the hotel. The pictures really don't do it justice.
Stylin'!
Look what I found!
She liked to wiggle her toes out of the sand.
Adding a little to the top...
We let her "drive" after we got her all cleaned up. She had so much fun!
