A few weekends ago, the Hubert's made a trip down from Tennessee to visit. My parents came in and stayed with us, and Erin and Daniel stayed with Haley and Jason. We had a great time hanging out and watching the kids play. We spent the entire Saturday that weekend outside in the pool and it was awesome! We had such a good time relaxing a swimming. Tanner was floating all by herself with her floaties and she was so proud of herself. My dad even got her to float on her back a little. She did so good! We spent that Sunday in New Braunfels and my aunt and Fallon and Brandon came in. We grilled shrimp and let the kids play outside in the baby pool and on a splash pad that my mom bought for the kids. They had such a good time. Tanner really enjoyed pouring water on Claire and Claire really enjoyed having water poured on her, so it worked out. Tanner is very much in a "mine" stage, so she didn't share all that well some of the time. It was really funny, though, because she kept calling Claire by her nickname, "Claire Bear". She thinks that is Claire's name because that is what everyone calls her. Too funny! She calls Sofi "FiFi" because she can't quite say Sofi. Logan is a little harder for her, so she calls him "baby". She really enjoyed petting his head and watching him eat that weekend, though. She did get a little mad when my mom or I would hold him, but she was good for the most part. On Monday, Erin and Daniel went to Schlitterbahn and Haley and Jason had to work so I volunteered to keep all of the kids. That was definitely an experience!! They were really good, thank goodness! I stayed really busy that day, but it was a lot of fun to hang out with my nieces by myself for a little while. That night, we put the babies to bed and all got a bowl of ice cream. We settled in and watched the season finale of The Bachelorette, and the guys had a great time laughing at all of the inuendos.....
The next day, I took the Huberts to the airport and Claire started screaming in the back seat. She was just screaming to hear the sound of her voice, but Tanner didn't like it at all. She went through the same stage when she was around Claire's age and we would tell her "no screaming". She looked at Claire and said, "no Taire Bear, no screaming!!!" Erin and I thought it was hilarious! I think they were tired of having to share everything with each other by the time the visit was over, and they were both a little frustrated at each other. It was really neat to see them interact. Here are some pictures:
